The Australian Government has introduced a new program called Support at Home, which has replaced the former Home Care Packages. If you're currently on a Home Care Package (Level 1 - 4), your package remains unchanged. On the other hand, new entrants to the system will be assessed under the Support at Home framework.

The My Aged Care Service Finder is the government’s online tool for searching aged care providers by location and service type. While comprehensive, it lists all approved providers without quality filtering or personalised recommendations. CHSP (Commonwealth Home Support Programme) provides entry-level support services for people with lower care needs — such as basic domestic help or transport. Home Care Packages (Level 1–4) provide more comprehensive, coordinated, and funded care for those with greater needs.
