Switching Providers Made Simple

  1. Tell Us About Your Current Provider

Step 1 Tell Us About Your Current Provider Complete a short online questionnaire (just a few minutes). Tell us your current Home Care Package level or Support at Home Classification, who you’re with now, where you’re located, and what isn’t working – whether that’s slow communication, high hourly rates, unclear statements, or an out-of-date care plan. There are no wrong answers.

Step 1: Tell Us About Your Current Provider
  2. Speak With A Real Person About Your Options

Step 2 Speak With A Real Person About Your Options One of our dedicated Care Advisers will call you at a time that works for you. We’ll listen to what’s not working with your current provider, walk you through the vetted providers available in your area, and explain exactly what a switch looks like – from notice periods to handover dates. Absolutely no pressure or rush, just clear, honest answers.

Step 2: Speak With A Real Person About Your Options
  3. Switch With Zero Gap In Care

Step 3 Switch With Zero Gap In Care Based on everything you’ve shared, we’ll recommend a quality provider from our handpicked, vetted network – and handle the introduction, the paperwork, and the handover. You stay covered the whole way through. If the new provider doesn’t feel like the right fit either, we’ll always have a back-up plan. And all of this comes at zero cost to you.

Step 3: Switch With Zero Gap In Care

Whether you’re not satisfied (or just frustrated) with your current home care provider, needing to help a loved one leave an aged care home that isn’t right, or simply, looking to explore better options – we’re here through all of it.

Support At Every Step of Your Journey

Not getting the care you (or your loved one) deserve? You have every right to change providers at any time. We’ll manage the entire transition, coordinate the handover with both providers, and make sure there’s no gap in care – at zero cost to you.

Find Your First Home Care Provider

Looking for a different residential aged care facility, or finding one for the first time? We know how emotional this decision can be. We’ll compare options on quality ratings, location, and availability – and be with you every step of the way.

Switch Or Find An Aged Care Home

Sometimes it’s clear as day: Your services aren’t being delivered to satisfaction, your care managers are constantly changing, or your provider’s inconsistent or just gone quiet. Other times, it’s a culmination of all those little things adding up: An out-of-date care plan, statements you can’t decipher, hourly rates that feel high for what you’re actually getting, or the plain lack of communication.

To help you identify when it’s time, here are the four signs we hear of most often from families who decide to switch:

How Do You Know When It’s Time to Switch?

High hourly rates, low value in return

You’re paying premium rates for cleaning, nursing, or personal care – but the visits feel rushed, the carer changes every time, or you’re being charged for time that doesn’t seem to show up in the home. If you can’t see where your funding is going, something’s wrong.

You don’t know what’s left in your budget

You should always know how much of your Home Care Package or Support at Home funding is left, what’s been spent, and on what. If statements are confusing, infrequent, or impossible to get hold of – that’s a red flag, not a quirk.

Your care plan is out of date

Your needs change over time – and your care plan should keep up. If no one’s reviewed it in 12+ months, or it still reflects the situation you were in when you first signed up, you may be missing out on services your funding could cover.

It takes days to get a callback

If you can’t reach your provider when you need them – for a question, a roster change, or an emergency – that’s not a service, that’s a subscription. A good provider answers, calls back, and treats your time with respect.
